Name Description

David Abney

Mr. David P. Abney is the Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer and Director of United Parcel Service, Inc. He became UPS’s Chief Executive Officer in September 2014, and assumed the role of Chairman of the Board of Directors in February 2016. David previously served as Chief Operating Officer since 2007, overseeing logistics, sustainability, engineering and all facets of the UPS transportation network. Before serving as COO, David was President of UPS International, leading the Company’s strategic initiative to increase its global logistics capabilities. During his career, he was also involved in a number of global acquisitions that included the Fritz Companies, Stolica, Lynx Express, and Sino-Trans in China. Earlier in his career, he served as President of SonicAir, a same-day delivery service that signaled UPS’s move into the service parts logistics sector. David began his UPS career in 1974 in Greenwood, Mississippi. In addition to his corporate responsibilities, David serves as a Trustee of The UPS Foundation and as a Trustee of the Annie E. Casey Foundation. He is also a member of the board of directors Atlanta Committee for Progress, Engage Atlanta, and is the 2019 Chair Elect, Executive Governing Committee Member of the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce. He is the former Chairman of the World Affairs Council of Atlanta. He served on the board of directors of Johnson Controls International plc, until 2018. David has a thorough understanding of our strategies and operations gained through his over 40 years of service to our company, a complex, global business enterprise with a large, labor-intensive workforce. He has significant experience in operations, having served as our Chief Operating Officer for seven years, including in-depth knowledge of logistics.

Richard Peretz

Mr. Richard N. Peretz is the Chief Financial Officer, Senior Vice President, Treasurer of United Parcel Service, Inc. Mr. Peretz currently serves as UPS’s Vice President, Corporate Controller and Treasurer and will continue serving in that role until assuming the role of Chief Financial Officer on July 1, 2015. Mr. Peretz has served in several operational and corporate leadership positions within the Finance staff since joining the company in 1981. Mr. Peretz was named Corporate Controller in 2013, and expanded his role to include Corporate Treasurer in 2014. He currently has responsibility for financial reports and plans, tax, general accounting, treasury, investments and mergers and acquisitions across all UPS business units. He served as Corporate Finance Vice President from 2007 to 2013, where he oversaw a broad range of finance staff areas. Mr. Peretz also served as the Company’s International Chief Financial Officer from 2003 to 2007.

James Barber

Mr. James Jay Barber Jr. is the Chief Operating Officer, Senior Vice President of United Parcel Service, Inc. As president of UPS International since May 2013, Jim Barber oversees the company's business operations in more than 220 countries and territories outside of the U.S. Barber is also a member of the UPS Management Committee, which is responsible for the day-to-day management of the company. Barber previously served as President of UPS Europe, with responsibility for UPS operations in more than 120 countries and territories in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Under Jim's leadership, UPS executed a growth strategy that included expanding its capabilities and enhancing the customer experience. As part of this growth strategy, Jim led key acquisitions such as Pieffe Group, an Italy-based pharmaceutical logistics company, and Lynx Express, one of the U.K.'s independent parcel carriers. As part of UPS's growing focus on e-commerce, Jim led the acquisition of Kiala S.A., a company with a network of package collection points in France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Spain. In 2002, Jim was appointed controller of the Southeast (U.S.) Region and then was named vice president of finance and accounting for the Europe Region, based out of Brussels, Belgium. After a special assignment as a package division manager in Germany, Jim was named as managing director of UPS U.K. & Ireland in 2006. Jim returned to Brussels in 2010 as chief operating officer for UPS Europe, Middle East and Africa. Jim holds a degree in finance from Auburn University.

Teri McClure

Ms. Teri Plummer McClure is the Chief Human Resource Officer, Senior Vice President, Labor Relations of United Parcel Service, Inc. She was Chief Legal Officer and Senior Vice President, Human Resources of United Parcel Service Inc. since 2015. Previously, McClure was the Senior Vice President of Legal, Compliance and Public Affairs, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary (2006 - 2014), Corporate Legal Department Manager (2005 - 2006).

Juan Perez

Mr. Juan Q. Perez is the Senior Vice President, Chief Information Officer of United Parcel Service, Inc. He has 26 years of UPS experience in U.S. Domestic, International, and Supply Chain Solutions (SCS). He began his UPS career in 1990 as an intern in Los Angeles, CA and held numerous assignments of increasing responsibility across several UPS business units in operations, industrial engineering, quality, and technology. Perez spent the previous 6 years in Information Systems (I.S.) leadership roles ranging from supply chain solutions applications, to operational and customer resource management technologies, as well as overall coordination of I.S. activities for multiple international regions. Perez was a key member of the group that defined the foundation for UPS operational technology tools and strategies used today to facilitate driver scheduling, package delivery operations, and many technology-enabled services. Perez also worked with the IT team that developed the On-Road Integrated Optimization and Navigation (ORION) system used by UPS operations to optimize delivery routes to improve service and efficiency. Orion has been recognized for exceptional innovation by several technology and science organizations and publications. In 2013, Perez was recognized by Computerworld as a Premier 100 IT Leader. Perez holds a BS in Industrial Engineering from the University of Southern California and an MS in Computer and Manufacturing Engineering. He has contributed to several patents in support of UPS' intellectual property. Perez actively serves as coordinator for the UPS Latino Business Resource Group (BRG), a company-sponsored program that supports diversity within our communities, customers, people, and suppliers.

Norman Brothers

Mr. Norman M. Brothers, Jr. is the Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of United Parcel Service, Inc. He will join the UPS Management Committee, the company's senior-most leadership group. Brothers joined UPS in 2000. He most recently served as the company's Vice President and Deputy General Counsel. Mr. Brothers has led diverse legal practice areas including litigation, corporate, business development, regulatory compliance and international. He also has managed the global privacy team and the office of the corporate secretary. Before joining UPS, he was a military prosecutor in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General's Corps and practiced at the international law firm King & Spalding. Brothers received his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and law degree from Emory University School of Law.

Kathleen Gutmann

Ms. Kate Gutmann is the Senior Vice President - Worldwide Sales and Solutions of United Parcel Service, Inc. She joined the company in 1989 as a marketing intern while attending Siena College and over the course of her distinguished career has served in various sales and marketing roles, including vice president of marketing for the Europe, Middle East and Africa Region. Gutmann was promoted to her current position as president of worldwide sales in 2011. Ms. Gutmann is active in the community and serves on the board of directors for the Women Presidents' Organization.

Mark Wallace

Mr. Mark Wallace is the Senior Vice President - Global Engineering and Sustainability of United Parcel Service, Inc. Mr. Wallace was previously president of UPS Supply Chain Solutions. In this role he led the company's global contract logistics operations which serve customers in numerous industry segments with optimized supply chain planning, light assembly, warehousing and distribution services. Before taking over UPS Supply Chain Solutions, Wallace served as vice president for Industrial Engineering, since 2012. His broad responsibilities included oversight of industrial engineering for capacity planning, package and hub operations, methods and work measurement, technology support and daily network and contingency planning. Prior to this position, he directed all international industrial engineering to support UPS's non-U.S. operations and network planning. Wallace began his UPS career in 1986 as an engineering specialist and was assigned as a driver in Arizona. Mr. Wallace has advanced through various engineering and operations leadership positions in the West, Southwest and North Central parts of the U.S., including planning and IE coordination for UPS's largest ground processing hub outside Chicago and nationwide deployment of new technology systems for dispatch planning and pre-load simplification. A Minnesota native, Wallace holds a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from Arizona State University, in Tempe, Arizona.

Kevin Warren

Mr. Kevin M. Warren is the Chief Marketing Officer of United Parcel Service, Inc, effective June 1, 2018. Most recently, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer for Xerox Corporation, where he was responsible for worldwide channel strategy, salesforce effectiveness, and global client engagement for the company's diverse portfolio of hardware, software, and services. Prior to that, he served as president of the Commercial Business Group for Xerox's services business, driving growth by pursuing new clients and expanding the services the company provides to current clients across commercial industries including: retail and consumer products, commercial transportation, travel, manufacturing, aerospace and defense, high-tech communications, and financial services. Warren earned a Bachelor of Science in finance from Georgetown University and is an alumnus of the Harvard Business School, having completed the Advanced Management Program. He serves as a director of Illinois Tool Works and of Georgetown University, where he also chairs the audit committee. In addition, he is a current member of the Executive Leadership Council.

Scott Price

Mr. Scott A. Price is the Chief Transformation Officer of United Parcel Service, Inc. Price is currently Executive Vice President, Global Leverage for Walmart, based in Bentonville, AR. He has extensive corporate leadership experience in senior roles for Walmart, DHL Express International and The Coca-Cola Company, spanning his near 30-year professional career. He has deep international credentials and served in country marketing, country operations, regional senior operations and regional administrative management roles in both Asia and Europe for previous employers. Price is credited with restructuring operations, driving significant acquisitions and leading expansive growth in past assignments. He brings broad international operations, transportation, logistics, procurement, I.T. and supply chain experience to his new role at UPS.

William Johnson

Mr. William R. (Bill) Johnson is Lead Independent Director of United Parcel Service, Inc. He served as Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of the H.J. Heinz Company, a global packaged foods manufacturer, from 2000 until his retirement in 2013. He became President and Chief Operating Officer of Heinz in 1996, and assumed the position of President and Chief Executive Officer in 1998. Bill also serves on the Board of Directors of Emerson Electric Company and PepsiCo, Inc. Bill has significant experience gained through over 13 years of service as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of H.J. Heinz, a corporation with significant international operations and a large, labor intensive workforce. He also has deep experience in operations, marketing, brand development and logistics.

Christiana Shi

Ms. Christiana Smith Shi is the Director of United Parcel Service, Inc. She is the founder and principal of Lovejoy Advisors, LLC, an advisory services firm helping to digitally transform consumer and retail businesses. Previously, she served as president of Nike Inc.'s Direct to Consumer business from 2013 to 2016, vice president of E-Commerce from 2012 to 2013, and chief operating officer for Global Direct to Consumer from 2010 to 2012. Prior to Nike, Shi spent 24 years with McKinsey & Co., Inc., including being elected director and senior partner in 2000. She also serves as a director of Williams-Sonoma, Inc. and Mondelez International, Inc. Shi earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and a bachelor's degree in economics and international relations from Stanford University. Christiana has substantial experience in digital commerce, global retail operations and helping companies with transformative change. She also has strong supply chain and cost management expertise in the global consumer industry. She gained experience advising senior executives at consumer companies across North American, Europe, Latin America and Asia on leadership and strategy. Christiana also has extensive public company board experience.

Rodney Adkins

Mr. Rodney C. Adkins is an Independent Director of United Parcel Service Inc. Mr. Rod is President of 3RAM Group LLC, a private company specializing in capital investments, business consulting and property management services. Rod previously served as IBM’s Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy before retiring in 2014. Rod was previously Senior Vice President, Systems and Technology Group, a position he held since 2009, and Senior Vice President of STG development and manufacturing, a position he held since 2007. In his over 30-year career with IBM, Rod held a number of other development and management roles, including general management positions for the PC Company, UNIX Systems and Pervasive Computing. In addition, Rod currently serves on the Board of Directors of Avnet, Inc., W.W. Grainger, Inc. and PPL Corporation. As a senior executive of a public technology company, Rod gained a broad range of experience, including experience in emerging technologies and services, global business operations, and supply chain management. He is a recognized leader in technology and technology strategy. In addition, Rod has experience serving as a director of other publicly traded companies.

Michael Burns

Mr. Michael J. Burns is an Independent Director of United Parcel Service Inc. Mr. Burns was the Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President of Dana Corporation from 2004 until his retirement in 2008. He joined Dana Corporation in 2004 after 34 years with General Motors Corporation. Michael had served as President of General Motors Europe since 1998. Mike has years of senior leadership experience gained while managing large, complex businesses and leading an international organization that operated in a highly competitive industry. He also has experience in design, engineering, manufacturing, and sales and distribution. Mike also brings deep knowledge of technology and the supply of components and services to major vehicle manufacturers.

Candace Kendle

Dr. Candace Kendle is an Independent Director of United Parcel Service Inc. She is the co-founder and was, until 2011, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Kendle International Inc., a global clinical research organization. Prior to founding Kendle International, she earned a doctorate in pharmacy from the University of Cincinnati and has held senior faculty positions at the University of North Carolina Schools of Pharmacy and Medicine; the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine; the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science; and the University of Cincinnati College of Pharmacy. Candace serves on the Board of Directors of Emerson Electric Company. Candace serves on the Board of Directors of Emerson Electric Company. She served on the Board of Directors of H.J. Heinz Company until 2013. During her tenure as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Kendle International, Candace gained insight and experience in executing strategic acquisitions, expansions into new markets, and product development. She also brings deep knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry as a result of her doctorate and post-doctorate work, her many years of experience as a professor and her many years of experience in the practical application of her clinical and pharmaceutical knowledge.

Ann Livermore

Ms. Ann M. Livermore is an Independent Director of United Parcel Service Inc. She serves as a director of the Hewlett Packard Enterprise Company, after retiring as an executive of Hewlett Packard in 2011. In her last operational role at HP, Ann was Executive Vice President of the HP Enterprise Business. Ann joined HP in 1982 and held a variety of management positions in marketing, sales, research and development, and business management before being elected a corporate vice president in 1995. Ann also serves on the board of Qualcomm Incorporated, Mesosphere, Inc., a private software company, and the Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford University. She served on the Board of Directors of Hewlett Packard Company until 2015. Ann is also a lecturer at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Ann has extensive experience in senior leadership positions at HP, one of the world’s largest information technology companies. This experience includes leading a complex global business organization with a large workforce. Through her 29 years at HP, she has gained knowledge and experience in the areas of technology, marketing, sales, research and development and business management.

Rudolph Markham

Mr. Rudolph H. P. Markham is an Independent Director of United Parcel Service Inc. He was the Financial Director of Unilever from 2000 through his retirement in 2007. He joined Unilever in 1968. From 1989 through 1998 he was based in East Asia where he held a series of increasing responsibilities, ultimately serving as Business Group President North East Asia based in Singapore. Rudy joined the board of Unilever as Strategy and Technology Director, became a member of its Executive Committee in 1998 and was subsequently appointed as Financial Director. In 2007, he retired from the board of Unilever and as Chief Financial Officer. Rudy is a director of AstraZeneca PLC and Legal and General PLC. He also is Vice Chairman of the supervisory board of Corbion, N.V., formerly CSM, N.V. Rudy is a British citizen and he currently resides in the U.K. Rudy has significant experience in finance, technology and international operations that he gained through his almost 40 years of service at Unilever, one of the world’s largest consumer goods companies. Rudy also has insight into the operations of an organization with a large, global workforce, and has a unique insight into operations based in Asia. Rudy’s experience also includes service as a director of other Europe-based global public companies.

Franck Moison

Mr. Franck J. Moison is an Independent Director of United Parcel Service, Inc. He is Vice Chairman for the Colgate-Palmolive Company, a position he has held since April 2016. He is currently leading Colgate-Palmolive’s operations in Asia, South Pacific and Latin America, and he also leads Global Business Development. Previously, he was Chief Operating Officer of Emerging Markets from 2010 until 2016, and he was given additional responsibility for Business Development in 2013. Beginning in 1978, Franck served in various management positions with the Colgate-Palmolive Company, including President, Global Marketing, Global Supply Chain & R&D from 2007 to 2010, and President, Western Europe, Central Europe and South Pacific from 2005 to 2007. He serves on the Board of Directors of Hanes Brands, Inc., is a director of the French American Chamber of Commerce, is Chairman of the International Advisory Board of the EDHEC Business School (Paris, London, Singapore) and is a member of the International Board of the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University. He served on the Board of Directors of H.J. Heinz Corporation until 2013. Franck has extensive experience as a senior executive at a large organization engaged in international business. Clark Randt

Amb. Clark T. Randt, Jr., is Independent Director of United Parcel Service, Inc. He is a former U.S. ambassador to the People’s Republic of China, where he served from 2001 until 2009. From 1994 through 2002, he was a partner resident in the Hong Kong office of Shearman & Sterling, a major international law firm, where he headed the firm’s China practice. From 1982 through 1984, Sandy served as First Secretary and Commercial Attaché at the U.S. Embassy in Beijing. In 1974, he was the China representative of the National Council for United States-China Trade, and from 1968 to 1972, he served in the U.S. Air Force Security Service. Currently, Sandy is President of Randt & Co. LLC, a company that advises firms with interests in China. Sandy also serves on the boards of Wynn Resorts, Ltd., Valmont Industries, Inc. and Qualcomm Incorporated. Sandy has substantial experience in Asia and in facilitating business throughout Asia. He is recognized as one of America’s foremost authorities on China, and has more than 35 years of direct experience in Asia. He brings to the board experience in diplomacy and international trade. He has experience as an advisor on international matters to large, multinational corporations, and brings the experience of leading the China practice of a major international law firm.

John Stankey

Mr. John T. Stankey is an Independent Director of United Parcel Service, Inc. He has served as CEO, AT&T Entertainment Group, since 2015. He is responsible for leading strategy, marketing and operations around the development and distribution of a premier, mobile, entertainment experience for customers through multiple channels anywhere. John previously served as Group President and Chief Strategy Officer of AT&T from 2012 through 2015 where he had responsibility for AT&T’s strategy and corporate development functions. John also served as President and CEO of AT&T Business Solutions, where he was responsible for serving AT&T’s business customers worldwide. John has held a number of other roles at AT&T, including President and Chief Executive Officer of AT&T Operations, Chief Technology Officer and Chief Information Officer. He is a member of the Board of Advisors at the Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA. During his more than 30 year career at AT&T, John has gained significant experience in technology and communications services, strategic planning and execution, and global business operations. As a senior leader at one of the world’s largest communications companies, John has extensive experience managing a large, complex, multi-national business with a large, labor intensive workforce, much of which is unionized. He also has experience working with a company that has both direct to consumer and business to business offerings.

Carol Tome

Ms. Carol B. Tome is an Independent Director of United Parcel Service Inc. She has been Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of The Home Depot, Inc., one of the world’s largest retailers, since 2001. In 2007 Carol assumed the additional role of Executive Vice President — Corporate Services. She provides leadership in the areas of real estate, financial services and strategic business development. Her corporate finance duties include financial reporting and operations, financial planning and analysis, internal audit, investor relations, treasury and tax. She had been Senior Vice President — Finance and Accounting/ Treasurer from 2000 until 2001, and from 1995 until 2000, she served as Vice President and Treasurer. Carol also serves as a Member of the Advisory Board of certain Fidelity funds (2017-present) and previously served as Trustee of certain Fidelity funds (2017). Carol has extensive experience in corporate finance gained throughout her career at The Home Depot. She brings the experience of currently serving as Chief Financial Officer of a complex, multi-national business with a large, labor intensive workforce. Carol also has experience with strategic business development, including e-commerce strategy. Carol’s past role as Chair of the Board of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta also brings valuable financial experience.

Kevin Warsh

Mr. Kevin M. Warsh is an Independent Director of United Parcel Service, Inc. He was a member of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve from 2006 until 2011. He currently serves as the Shepard Family Distinguished Visiting Fellow in Economics at Stanford University’s Hoover Institution and a lecturer at its Graduate School of Business. In addition, Kevin provides strategic advice to a range of businesses and serves on the President’s Strategic and Policy Forum. From 2002 until 2006, Kevin served at the White House as President George W. Bush’s special assistant for economic policy and as executive secretary of the National Economic Council. Kevin was previously employed by Morgan Stanley & Co. in New York, becoming vice president and executive director of the company’s Mergers and Acquisitions Department. Kevin has extensive experience in understanding and analyzing the economic environment, the financial marketplace and monetary policy. He has a deep understanding of the global economic and business environment. Kevin also brings the experience of working in the private sector for a leading investment bank gained during his tenure at Morgan Stanley & Co.
