Name Description

Roger Parry

Mr. Roger George Parry, CBE, is Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of YouGov Plc. He is also Chairman of MSQ Partners Ltd, Mobile Streams Plc and Shakespeare’s Globe Trust. He is a Visiting Fellow of Oxford University. Roger was previously a consultant with McKinsey & Co, CEO of More Group plc, Chairman and CEO of Clear Channel International, Chairman of Johnston Press plc, Chairman of Future plc and Chairman of Shakespeare’s Globe Trust. Roger was educated at the universities of Oxford (M.Litt Economics) and Bristol (BSc Geology). He is the author of five books: People Businesses; Enterprise; Making Cities Work; Delivering the Neural Nudge and The Ascent of Media.

Stephan Shakespeare

Mr. Stephan Shakespeare is Chief Executive Officer, Executive Director of the Company. He co-founded YouGov in 2000 (in collaboration with Nadhim Zahawi). One of the pioneers of internet research, Stephan has been the driving force behind YouGov’s innovation-led strategy. Stephan is a Trustee of the National Portrait Gallery and Chair of the newly established Data Strategy Board for the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills. He also founded PoliticsHome.com and Conservative Home.com. Stephan has an MA in English Language and Literature from Oxford University. He is a now a member of the Government’s Public Sector Transparency Board and a trustee of the National Portrait Gallery. Stephan also sits on the Advisory Board of the Oxford-Man Institute of Quantitative Finance.

Alexander McIntosh

Mr. Alexander George (Alex) McIntosh has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer, Executive Director of the Company., effective 6 December 2017. has been with YouGov since 2007, initially as Corporate Finance Manager within the finance team focusing on planning, budgeting and corporate development. He became Chief Strategy Officer in 2011 and played a leading role in the development of YouGov's strategic plans and data product developments. Alex also held the role of Chief Executive Officer of YouGov's UK business from 2015 to 2016. He previously worked in corporate finance advising a wide range of companies on their growth plans and first worked with YouGov in 2005 while at Grant Thornton when he assisted with the Group's initial public offering on AIM. Alex holds a BSc (Hons) in Applied Accounting, an MSc in Finance, and is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.

Sundip Singh Chahal

Mr. Sundip Singh Chahal has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer, Executive Director of the Company., effective 6 December 2017. He currently serves as Chief Operating Officer of the Company. He has been with YouGov since 2005 and has been the Group's Chief Operating Officer since 2014. He initially joined YouGov's UK business as BrandIndex Sales Director, becoming Managing Director of Data Products in 2008. In 2009 he was appointed as Chief Operating Officer of YouGov's MENA business and relocated to Dubai to oversee the expansion of YouGov's core online services across the Middle East, North Africa and Asia. In 2010 he was promoted to Chief Executive Officer of YouGov MENA. Prior to joining YouGov, Sundip gained experience of the market research industry with Ipsos and Research International in the UK. Sundip is currently a Director of the following subsidiary companies of YouGov plc: Consilium Limited (Hong Kong), PT YouGov Consulting Indonesia (Indonesia), YouGov Malaysia SDN BHD (Malaysia), YouGov Singapore Pte Limited (Singapore), YouGov (Thailand) CO LTD (Thailand), YouGov M.E. FZ LLC (UAE), YouGov Italia Srl (Italy).

Ben Elliot

Mr. Ben William Elliot is Non-Executive Director of the company. Mr. Elliot is the co-founder of Quintessentially, the luxury lifestyle group and 24-hour global concierge service, which he started in London in December 2000. The Quintessentially Group operates in 60 cities globally and has 32 sister businesses in the luxury lifestyle market. Ben is the chairman of the Quintessentially Foundation. Since it was established in 2008, it has raised over 2.5 million pounds for charity. He was also proudly involved in the fundraising for Her Majesty the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee in 2012. Ben is Executive Producer of the award-winning feature documentary Fire in Babylon. He graduated from the University of Bristol with a degree in Politics.

Rosemary Leith

Ms. Rosemary Leith serves as Non-Executive Director of YouGov plc., effective 1 February 2015. She is a Fellow at the Berkman Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University and a Founding Director of the World Wide Web Foundation. She is also a Director of Herdict (Berkman Center) that uses crowdsourcing to present a real-time view of Internet accessibility around the world. Rosemary has wide commercial and academic experience of internet and digital technology management and policy including data privacy, analytics and innovation. Following an early career in finance and investment management with Coopers & Lybrand (now PwC), Pallas and Talisman Management, Rosemary founded and developed Flametree, an early web content and advisory business specialising in corporate intranets, which was later acquired by PwC. Rosemary currently advises a number of technology businesses and academic institutions in Europe and North America. She has been the Chair of the World Economic Forum Global Agenda Council on Future of Internet Security and is a member of the Advisory Boards of Infinite Analytics (Boston and Mumbai), Queen's University School of Business (Canada), Wolfson College, Oxford and University of the Arts, London. Rosemary holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) in Finance and Accounting from Queen's University, Canada.

Ashley Martin

Mr. Ashley Graham Martin is Non-Executive Director of the Company. He has substantial executive experience of high growth entrepreneurial businesses in the technology and media sectors. He is currently a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit & Risk Committee at Zegona Communications plc, an operating company in the European TMT sector. Until recently he served 9 years as a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit Committee at Rightmove plc, the UK's largest online property portal and a high growth consumer technology business. Previous executive roles include Group Finance Director at Tempus Group plc, Group Finance Director at Rok plc and Global Chief Financial Officer at The Engine Group Limited and Engine Holdings LLC. Ashley is a qualified Chartered Accountant and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Andrea Newman

Ms. Andrea Clare Newman has been appointed as Non-Executive Director of the Company., with effect from 6 December 2017. Andrea Clare Newman is the Global Head of Marketing - Wealth & Brand Communications at HSBC Holdings plc. In this role, Andrea is responsible for the management of the HSBC brand globally, as well as all marketing related to HSBC's Wealth Management propositions. She has been at HSBC for 20 years and during that time has lived and worked in the US and Asia Pacific in addition to the UK. During her tenure with HSBC she has overseen the development of the company's brand from a federation of over 50 brands to one unified brand, ensuring HSBC's place as one of the most globally-recognised financial services brands.

Nick Jones

Mr. Nick Jones Re-designated as Senior Non-Executive Independent Director of the Company., with effect from 6 December 2017. He was Non-Executive Director of YouGov Plc. Nick is currently Chief Financial Officer of Achilles Group, the global provider of professional procurement services. Prior to this, he was Global Head of Finance for Reuters plc where he also led the integration of Thomson and Reuters. Nick has held senior financial roles in technology and media businesses in the UK, the US and Europe including Virgin Media, Phillips Electronics and RR Donnelley. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and holds a BA (Hons) in Accounting and Finance.
