GTX Corp, incorporated on April 7, 2006, is a holding company that owns and operates two subsidiaries engaged in wearable technology business. The Company's subsidiaries are Global Trek Xploration (GTX California) and LOCiMOBILE, Inc. The Company and its subsidiaries are engaged in the design, development, manufacturing, distribution and sale of approximately five related products and services in the global positioning system (GPS) and Bluetooth low energy (BLE) wearable technology personal location and wandering assistive technology business. Through an enterprise (Internet of things (IoT)) monitoring platform and licensing subscription business model, the Company offers a solution of hardware, middleware, applications, connectivity and professional services. The Company is focused on building channels of distribution for its product lines of embedded devices, Stand-Alone devices and Digital Applications, which all funnel into the GTX Corp IoT monitoring platform. Each product line is sold both direct to consumer (B2C) and business to business (B2B) through a network of resellers, affiliates, distributors, nonprofit organizations, government agencies, manufacturers' representatives and retailers. It markets and sells the Code Amber Alertags online at www.codeamberalertag.com.
The Company provides a global monitoring platform to answer questions, such as, where is my mother, child, employee, pet, drone, or high value asset. The Company offers products, such as its GPS and BLE SmartSoles with a hosted and scalable backend monitoring platform and over 20 smartphone and tablet applications. The Company provides its monitoring products and services to over three market segments, such as people with cognitive memory disorders, such as Alzheimer's, dementia, autism and traumatic brain injury (TBI); high value assets, including drones, cargo and fleet management, and mobile work force, such as salespersons, journalists, electricians, plumbers, food delivery and law enforcement, as well a host of other industries that require knowing the whereabouts of an employee in real time. The Company has live units in the field and/or paying subscribers in over 35 countries, has over 10 regional sales representatives in the United States, over six retired and active professional athlete brand ambassadors, over 225 online affiliates, over 10 international distributors, and a joint venture distribution agreement in Ireland. Its products are also sold in over two retail stores.
GTX California engages in the business of hardware, software, connectivity, design and development of GPS and BLE monitoring and tracking solutions. This includes the management and monetization of the Company's IP portfolio. Its GPS device, which consists of a miniature quad band general packet radio service (GPRS) transceiver, antenna, circuitry, battery and inductive charging pad can be customized and integrated into various form factors whose location and movement can be monitored in real time over the Internet through its tracking portal or on a Web-enabled cellular telephone. The tracking portal is equipped with a database, application-programming interface (API) for custom integration and communication short message service (SMS) gateway software and hardware. Its Location Data Center services are also offered to non-GTX California products and hardware systems (handsets and personal electronics) of electronics manufacturers through the offer and sale of licenses (either geographical, regional or product categories).
LOCiMOBILE, Inc., its mobile application subsidiary, develops and owns LOCiMOBILE, a suite of mobile tracking applications (Apps) that turn the smartphones and tablets, such as iPhone, iPad, Google Android and other GPS enabled handsets into a tracking and location-based social networking device, which can be viewed through its tracking portal or on any connected device with Internet access. Additionally, the Company offers Track My Work Force, which allows employers to track and monitor employees, drivers, sales representatives, and more using their Smartphone, tablet or any wireless devices. The Company's products include a series of applications focused on the enterprise user, as it offers private label versions of its consumer applications to companies looking for personalized and secure methods of keeping track of their employees. Its road map also consists of additional applications for the iPad, other tablets, televisions, and more applications for the iPhone and Google Android operating systems.
