The Company owns, directly or indirectly interests of Sunstone Hotel Partnership, LLC (the Operating Partnership), which is directly or indirectly owns its hotel properties. The Company also owns interests of its taxable REIT subsidiary, Sunstone Hotel TRS Lessee, Inc., which leases all of its hotels from the Operating Partnership, and engages independent third-parties to manage its hotels. The Company's hotels include Boston Park Plaza, Embassy Suites Chicago, Embassy Suites La Jolla, Hilton North Houston, Hilton Times Square, Hyatt Regency Newport, Wailea Beach Resort, Renaissance Los Angeles Airport, Renaissance Long Beach, and Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld and Hyatt Centric Chicago Magnificent Mile.
