Profile: United American Corp (UAMA.PK)
United American Corp, formerly Teliphone USA Corp Inc, incorporated on July 17, 1992, is a telecommunications commodity exchange. The Company's Advanced Circuit Intelligent Management Algorithm System (ACIMAS) transforms product into a standardized commodity. ACIMAS manages and sorts the quality telecommunications. The Company's NYTEX is an online platform, which enables selling or buying blocks of minutes for a specific market at a fixed price or buy minutes continuously based on a variable spot price. NYTEX functions much like a traditional commodity exchange with similar internal operating units. Sellers post the price they want to receive for a specific block of minutes (the ask). NYTEX posts this ask with a small transaction fee and the combined price is what is seen by Buyers. Buyers on the other side of the transaction post what they are prepared to pay (the bid). When the ask and bid match, a transaction occurs. NYTEX clears both the financial transaction and the transiting of minutes (at the point in time when the Buyer decides to use them).
The Company provides its participants with a range of services and features, which give the ability to focus on business and profits. Its tTrader is a secure direct trading platform, which migrates existing carrier relationships, manages traffic and quality with ACIMAS algorithm. The Company's tBroker is a tool for setting up a telecoms brokerage. tBroker is designed for telecoms brokers and financial investors who want to trade telecom commodities, but do not want to invest in telecoms equipment, billing systems, data centers, accounting and collection departments, banking facilities and back office support.
The Company offers trading in both the United States dollars and EUROs through respective trading floors. The trading floors are integrated incorporating real time currency exchange so transactions can take place on either platform. The Company's index, NYTEX 100, tracks the top 100 telecom markets by value in real time. This gives market participants a market reference point. It follows telecom markets, providing intelligence for market traders on key factors that affect the price of the minutes. The Company also supplies core market information, the basic metrics on markets, such as number of subscribers, competition, growth parameters and historical information to aid in trading decisions and monitor for updates in dialing codes.
