Bardazzi, Gianni 

Dr. Gianni Bardazzi serves as Group Special Initiatives and Regions Coordination SVP, Russia and Caspian Region VP of Maire Tecnimont S.p.A. He was Senior Vice President Group Strategic Start-Up at Maire Tecnimont S.p.A. from November 2012. He was appointed Senior Vice President Strategic Marketing & Communication of the Company on May 2012. He previously served as Senior Vice President, Strategic Marketing and Special Initiatives since September 30, 2011. Prior to this he served as Senior Vice President for Strategic Marketing and Special Initiatives and Executive Director at Maire from 2007, to September 30, 2011. He has been Senior Vice President, Strategic Marketing and Special Initiatives of the Company since November 2005. He graduated in Architecture in 1990 from the Universita degli Studi di Firenze and obtained a Ph.D. in 1998 from the Universita degli Studi di Firenze and Chalmers Tekniska Hogskola, Sweden. In the same year he was appointed professor of architectural technology. In the meantime he has consulted on numerous site management projects for ICIET-SIME and ITT Sheraton. In 1997 he joined the Maire Group and subsequently served in various important positions. In 2007 he became a Director of Maire Tecnimont. He is also a board member of important engineering and construction associations and International Chambers of Commerce. He is currently in charge of the Group’s Strategies and M&A activities. He currently serves Chairman of Maire Tecnimont B.V., Tecnimont ICB, Tecnimont KT, Maire Engineering France, as Director of Met NewEn S.p.A, MET Development S.p.A., Tecnimont S.p.A., Tecnimont Russia, Residenziale Immobiliare 2004 S.p.A. and Esperia Aviation Services SpA.
