Zona, Ulderigo 

Mr. Ulderigo Zona serves as Senior Vice President of the HSE & Facility Management of Ansaldo STS S.p.A. since 2014. He is manager in charge of Supply Planning, Construction & Maintenance activities. He has coordinated, over the past few years, the implementation and start-up of the driverless metro systems in Italy (Milan Line 5, Brescia, Rome Line C), as well as the underground system in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia). He also worked in Australia where he collaborated on the creation of the operating implementation structure for the first driverless freight transportation system in that country. Since 2009: Vice President of the Construction & Commissioning department in the Transportation Division, as well as Corporate Technical Manager at Ansaldo STS S.p.A. Since 2001: Manager in charge of Construction Management at Ansaldo Trasporti Sistemi Ferroviari S.p.A., entrusted with coordinating all of the Logistic, Construction and Commissioning activities for the railway and underground rail transportation systems. He was also entrusted with the management of the sales development office of the Milan Metro and High Speed Power Supply units. He was appointed Technical Manager at Ansaldo Trasporti Sistemi Ferroviari and was vested with the Employer position pursuant to Legislative Decree 626/94 and Legislative Decree 494/96 (as amended). Since 1987: Employed at Ansaldo Trasporti S.p.A., first at the Signalling Division, where he took on a number of job positions within the Construction and the Factory functions, then at the Systems Division, where he was appointed Head of the Implementation function. He holds Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Universita degli Studi di Napoli Federico II.
