OSLO Norway's independent oil firm Aker BP has agreed to buy stakes in 11 production licenses off Norway from French Total for a cash consideration of $205 million, the company said on Tuesday.
OSLO, July 18 Investment firm Aker, controlled by billionaire Kjell Inge Roekke, expects to pay higher dividends as the value of its energy-heavy portfolio rise, CEO Oevind Eriksen told Reuters on Wednesday.

OSLO, July 13 A four-day oil workers' strike in Norway that may escalate on Monday would have to last a month to impact Aker BP's production from the Valhall field in the North Sea, the Norwegian energy company said.
