MADRID, July 30 The Spanish economy rebounded faster than expected in the second quarter after unexpectedly contracting in the first three months of the year, when rising COVID-19 contagion forced new restrictions on businesses.

Sept 29 Spanish EU-harmonised consumer prices fell by 0.6% year-on-year in September, flash data from the National Statistics Institute (INE) showed on Tuesday, compared with a Reuters poll for a 0.5% decrease and in line with the 0.6% drop recorded last month.

Turkey to expel US envoy and nine others, Erdogan says

ISTANBUL (Reuters) -Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan said on Saturday that he had told his foreign ministry to expel the ambassadors of the United States and nine other Western countries for demanding the release of philanthropist Osman Kavala.
