Company Information
EnerSys is engaged in providing stored energy solutions for industrial applications. The Company also manufactures and distributes energy systems solutions and motive power batteries, specialty batteries, battery chargers, power equipment, battery accessories and outdoor equipment enclosure solutions to customers worldwide. The Company's segments include Energy Systems, Motive Power and Specialty. The Energy Systems segment offers uninterruptible power systems (UPS) applications for computer and computer-controlled systems, as well as telecommunications systems, switchgear and electrical control systems used in industrial facilities and electric utilities, large-scale energy storage and energy pipelines. Its Motive Power segment offers power for electric industrial forklifts used in manufacturing, warehousing and other material handling applications. Its Specialty segment offers starting, lighting and ignition applications in transportation, energy solutions for satellites and others.
