At the general assembly of the United Nations in 2015, the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) were created, as part of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. The mission statement: "A shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and into the future."

The VISION 2045 campaign is based on these 17 goals. As part of the campaign, companies show what positive impact they can have in the areas of sustainability and prosperity. As part of the project, VIVAVIS AG contributes their own video, showcasing their digital solution and product portfolio.

VIVAVIS is on the path to becoming a carbon neutral company and aims to achieve this goal by 2030.

To achieve this, supply chains will be designed to be sustainable, which should empower customers to operate the new renewable energy systems safely and resiliently. Their corporate strategy is based on the so-called five S: smart, secure, simple, sustainable and services. How does VIVAVIS implement those? VIVAVIS concentrates competences and portfolio around infrastructure and infrastructure related IoT topics. They develop solutions that decrypt complex processes and translate these processes into intuitive applications. In short, they offer ‘decoding’.

VIVAVIS also plays a key role in driving forward the energy transition. Their solutions contribute significantly to bringing more renewable energy into the grids and to stabilizing the grids despite increasing e-mobility, ensuring a smart and sustainable supply.

Their solutions include the simple and secure control of energy grids with the Smart Grid Operation Platform (SGOP), software such as Redispatch 2.0, an FNN-compliant control box, as well as professional energy and load management. With their portfolio, both small municipal utilities and global players can intelligently control their energies. For example, they have implemented and ensured the renewable grid expansion in Andermatt, which can be seen in the VISION 2045 Video.

Another important aspect of VIVAVIS’s portfolio is water management. Water is key infrastructure and therefore the sustainable management of modern water networks is increasingly important. VIVAVIS solutions help to use precious resource water more efficiently; their systems not only control the water supply in Istanbul and Dubai - which is also discussed in the video - but have integrated intelligent features such as early leakage detection, which means that water is used in a resource-efficient and sustainable way.

The focus here is on the sustainable use of increasingly dwindling resources and the associated optimization of production processes.

Resources are becoming scarcer, the population is increasing, people are getting older, climate change is advancing, and a water shortage is foreseen in the not-too-distant future. This means that solutions are needed to cover all these needs with fewer resources. Sensible distribution and management of resources is needed without loss of comfort, such as power failures.

VIVAVIS technology offers the possibility to do exactly this. With a look at the 17 UN SDGs, this could mean "industry, innovation and infrastructure", "sustainable cities and communities" and "climate protection measures". To summarize: VIVAVIS systems can be used to master the transition to sustainable energy grids or systems.
