The 'Cuatro Vientos,' or 'Four Winds' aerodrome, where Pope Benedict held a vigil on Saturday (August 20) lived up to its name as a powerful gust of wind suddenly swept the pontiff's cap away and rain bucketed down interrupting his speech for about 20 minutes at World Youth Day celebrations. The dramatic weather change came after hundreds of pilgrims had to be treated throughout the day for dizzy spells caused by sweltering temperatures of around 40 degrees. The pilgrims' spirits, however, were not dampened by rain or soaring heat and they cheered the pope on until he began to speak again.
