The Abu Salim district of Tripoli-- site of intensive fighting as rebels weed out forces loyal to Muammar Gaddafi. After picking off snipers-- shooting rounds of ammunition and rocket propelled grenades-- they capture their enemies. Scores of men are paraded from buildings.. arms up, and awaiting their fate. This man was found with a wad of cash-- proof, rebels say, he is a paid mercenary. Another is forced to denounce Muammar Gaddafi -- others are loaded into the back of pickup trucks. An earlier NATO air strike targeted a fire station that left the building destroyed. A man was found amongst the rubble, still alive, but seriously wounded. Next to him, and unexploded bomb. As rebels continue fighting for control of Tripoli, pockets of pro-Gaddafi supporters are dwindling. Gaddafi's exact whereabouts are still unknown, although rebels believe he is hiding out somewhere in Tripoli. Julie Noce, Reuters
