Knee-deep in a daunting stringing job, workers put the finishing touches on a giant tennis racket they hope will smash the Guinness World Record. Organizer Ashrita Furman says the racket is a replica of Billie Jean King's wooden model - but this one's 50 feet or around 15 meters long. SOUNDBITE: Ashrita Furman, Organizer, saying (English): "We got permission from Guinness to model the racket after an old fashioned wood racket. They said as long as it's actually exactly to scale and is used with the same exact materials, then we could use an old fashioned wood racket." The 12,000 pound or five and a half thousand kilogram racket uses plastic tubes for the strings. Furman says construction took 10 days and it wasn't easy. SOUNDBITE: Ashrita Furman, Organizer, saying (English): "It was very, very complicated. We had to carry it down in pieces and then put it together. So, you know, it was actually much, much more difficult and I feel really good about how it turned out. It looks perfect as far as I'm concerned." The larger-than-life model will be on display for just one day, but Furman hopes it will be served up permanently in a children's museum.
