The "Central Park Jogger" case drew national headlines. Now the five men wrongfully convicted of the 1989 beating and rape of a female jogger will receive a huge payout. A federal judge has approved a $41 million settlement, ending a decade-long civil rights lawsuit stemming from the infamous crime. The five men were just teenagers when they were arrested. They confessed following lengthy interrogations, but later recanted, claiming they were coerced by police. The men were eventually exonerated after a serial rapist confessed to the crime. But all five men had already served prison terms. One of them will receive $12.2 million dollars. The other four will be paid $7.1 million each, that's roughly $1 million for each year spent in prison.
