Armed with radios, rifles and an oath, volunteers patrol U.S.-Mexico border

Reuters correspondant Lisa Maria Garza visited a volunteer citizen group, calling themselves the Patriots, who patrol a stretch along the Texas border with Mexico with the aim of deterring undocumented migrants from crossing into the U.S.

This is at least some idea -- -- former Andersen on the Texas side -- the US Mexico border -- human driving ATP and -- assault rifles won't tell me their full names. But others like will fly down from other parts of the US for a few days at a time. They say they answered the call to protect the US from illegal infiltration. Some of them live by code Malone lap.
