The final moments of a sinking vessel suspected of illegally fishing in the Southern Ocean. This footage was filmed by conservation group Sea Shepherd, who says it's been pursuing the ship for months. The group says it answered an emergency call for help from the Thunder. (SOUNDBITE) (English) CAPTAIN OF BOB BARKER, PETER HAMMARSTEDT, SAYING: "Say we received their Mayday, we're standing by to assist in any way." Sea Shepherd says all 40 crew members on board were rescued and handed over to authorities. Their chief engineer says there were signs the sinking was deliberate. (SOUNDBITE) (English) BOB BARKER CHIEF ENGINEER, ERWIN VERMEULEN, SAYING: "Yes, everything was open so if water comes into one area it goes into the next, into the next. So everything that can flood was open." The conservation group believes the Thunder was illegally catching vulnerable toothfish.
