ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) STORY: A family in the Russian far eastern Irkutsk region has adopted a bear cub found wandering after its mother was likely killed by poachers. The little bear, nicknamed Mishutka, took up residence with the Shcherbakov family in the town of Tulun, after he showed up at their house gate three weeks ago. The family matriarch cooks the bear porridge and feeds him milk from a refashioned beer bottle, and she says he loves sweets. The family is trying to have Mishutka resettled elsewhere. They have taken out an internet ad and hope TV coverage of him will lead to a circus or zoo taking him in.
