The 50th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards were held on Sunday (April 19) and Luke Bryan won the fan-voted top prize, Entertainer of the Year. Miranda Lambert, who led all nominees for the second consecutive year with eight nods, walked away with three awards, including Album of the Year for "Platinum." But the night truly belonged to Taylor Swift, who was awarded with a special honor - the Milestone Award. The trophy was presented to Swift by her mother, Andrea Finley, who made an emotional first public appearance since the announcement of her cancer diagnosis. Bobby Brown said at a weekend concert that his daughter with Whitney Houston, Bobbi Kristina Brown was awake but did not elaborate on her medical condition. Bobbi Kristina Brown has been hospitalized since being found unresponsive in her bathtub nearly three months ago. Her father's announcement has raised some confusion as to Bobbi Kristina's actual state. Online tabloid TMZ sites family sources who say that her condition remains unchanged. Broadway welcomed its first lesbian lead character in the musical "Fun Home," which opened Sunday night. The show, which transferred from a sold-out run off-Broadway, earned glowing reviews, with critics praising the groundbreaking show for its originality and sensitivity. It's scheduled to run through mid-September.
