Personal items from former U.S. First Lady Jackie Kennedy hit the auction. A collection of 79 photos featuring candid shots of the Kennedy family as well as a custom made maternity gown will be auctioned on June 25. Laura Kirk, an auction manager for Nate D. Sanders, says the photographs were reportedly taken by the family's former English nanny and were acquired when her estate was sold. According to Kirk, the pictures are special because they show never before seen private moments of the Kennedy family. SOUNDBITE: Laura Kirk, an auction manager for Nate D. Sanders Auctions, saying (English): "These photos show a completely different side of the family where it was just amongst them and just being relaxed and fun and carefree and I think that really does come through in the photos." A cream patterned maternity dress worn by Jackie O is also up for auction. SOUNDBITE: Laura Kirk, an auction manager for Nate D. Sanders Auctions, saying (English): " It's a beautiful gown, it's custom made for Jackie and it looks like she wore it probably to formal events because it's kind of a formal gown. It looks to be floor length and it's just really beautiful and it's a gorgeous dress." Bidding for the photos and dress, which are being sold in one lot, starts at $10,000 (USD) but could reach $50,000 (USD).
