Rescue work continues in Pakistan's Gujranwala district, where a bridge collapse sent this train plunging into a canal, killing at least 12 soldiers. It was carrying hundreds of military personnel and their families to the north of the country... where Pakistan's military is fighting a Taliban insurgency in several tribal areas bordering Afghanistan. Among the casualties ... the commander of the unit. (onlookers standing at water's edge) The cause of the derailment is under investigation, but sabotage is suspected. One senior military official says planks along the railway line had been tampered with. But the incident also raises concerns about infrastructure safety in Pakistan. The bridge had reportedly been marked as extremely dangerous.
