We're used to seeing him as part of a team - but one of the great heroes of a galaxy far, far away is getting his very own film. Disney has confirmed that an unnamed Han Solo project will be the second standalone movie from the 'Star Wars' universe - following on from Gareth Edwards' 'Rogue One' project. The film is described as an origin story - looking at what Harrison Ford's space smuggler was getting up to before joining the Rebel Alliance to fight Darth Vader's Galactic Empire. Chris Miller and Phil Lord are best known for 'Lego Movie' and they're due to direct the movie. 'The Empire Strikes Back' writer Lawrence Kasdan will script the film along with his son, Jon. The newest Star Wars film - 'The Force Awakens' - comes out in December. It'll star the original Han Solo who'll be back with a few old friends. There aren't too many details about the standalone film just yet but it is due for release in May 2018.
