Acclaimed director Francis Ford Coppola cooks pasta for students at Cuba's acclaimed International Film and Television School. Helena Williams reports.

He's a Hollywood icon best known for his critically-acclaimed movies, But Oscar-winning filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola showed that he's just at home in the kitchen as he is behind the camera. The director of 'The Godfather', 'Apocalypse Now' and 'Dracula' cooked up pasta for hungry students on a visit to Cuba's acclaimed International Film and Television School. Aiming to inspire the next generation of filmmakers, Coppola spoke about his days, and diet, starting out as a struggling director. SOUNDBITE: Director Francis Ford Coppola saying (English): "Look at me. I like to eat and I had, as a kid when I was their age I had no money, nothing. That's why I told them, that's why I'm so heavy is because I could just eat spaghetti and cheese which was cheap. So, I learned how to cook so that I could eat." The seventy-six year old has built up a treasure trove of awards during his esteemed movie career, But has had the time to pursue other commercial ventures including pasta sauces and wine.
