Heavy rainfall has inundated Chile's capital of Santiago. More than an inch has fallen since Wednesday and meteorologists say locals should brace for more... with another three inches expected over the next few days. No one has yet been reported injured in the downpour, although several power outages have been reported throughout the capital.. Some are cashing in on the downpour. These men in yellow raincoats are happy to transport people across the flooded streets...for a small fee. Public transportation officials say their services are running as scheduled. ...and contrary to some reports, authorities are assuring the public that the Mapocho River that cuts through Santiago is not at risk of breaching its banks.
