Malian special forces are reportedly moving through the Radisson Blu hotel in Bamako, freeing hostages as they search for Islamist gunmen. The gunmen stormed the hotel early Friday, firing and shouting "Allahu Akbar," or "God is Great" in Arabic. They took 170 people hostage, though 80 have reportedly been freed. The hostages included French, Turkish and Chinese citizens. Security officials say at least three people have been killed. The former French colony has been battling rebels allied to al Qaeda for several years... though the identity of these gunmen remains unknown.
