A snow-covered landscape in "The Revenant" matched a snowy northeastern United States this weekend. Theaters were shut down in major East Coast cities. But even so, the Oscar-nominated film earned $16 million from North American ticket sales. And the film came out on top at the box office. Even 'the force' couldn't stop it. "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" sits at number two this week, with $14.3 million in ticket sales. The seventh Star Wars installment can't be shot down... as its record-setting domestic total grows to $880 million. And losing a bit of traction: "Ride Along: 2". But Ice Cube and Kevin Hart's characters are still making audiences laugh -- the film brought in $13 million this weekend. How's that for a good snow day?
