ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) STORY: French singer Johnny Hallyday paid his respects on Sunday (March 27) at a makeshift memorial in Brussels to victims of bomb attacks that hit the country's capital this week. Candles, signs and hundreds of bouquets of flowers have been laid in the square after bomb attacks at Brussels airport and a metro station on Tuesday (March 22), claimed by Islamic State, killed 31 people and injured scores more. In the square a few hours earlier, police used water cannon to control hundreds of rowdy protesters who had ignored an official call for the postponement of solidarity marches following the bomb attacks. Local media said about 450 protesters noisily faced off with helmeted riot police in front of the city's colonnaded stock exchange building. The crowd, many of whom media described as right-wing nationalists, shouted slogans vehemently denouncing Islamic State.
