ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) STORY: U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry on Tuesday (MAy 3) called said there is "no justification" in the Syrian civil war for attacks that target civilians or medical facilities and first responders, no matter who conducts them. Kerry made the comments during a State Department briefing to reporters after rebel fighters launched an assault earlier in the day in Syria's divided northern city of Aleppo, firing fired rockets on a hospital. It was the latest violence to hit civilians as diplomats struggled to restore an unraveling ceasefire and resurrect peace talks. The rebel attack followed government air strikes on rebel areas, including one that hit a hospital last week, which medical charity Medecins Sans Frontieres said killed 55 civilians.
