ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) U.S. Republican Senator Mark Kirk mocked his Democratic challenger's mixed-race heritage during a debate between the candidates battling for an Illinois Senate seat. The comments came after Rep. Tammy Duckworth spoke about her family's history in the military. "My family has served this nation in uniform, going back to the Revolution. I am a daughter of the Revolution." Sen. Kirk responded with a dig saying, "I'd forgotten that your family came all the way from Thailand to serve with George Washington." Democrats are demanding an apology for the racially charged comments.
