Leading Brexit campaigner Nigel Farage says he wants to be a bridge between the British government and the new U.S. administration, but the British government is dismissing the suggestion. Jillian Kitchener reports.

Their chemistry is undeniable... and now, leading Brexit campaigner Nigel Farage says he wanted to be a bridge between the British government and the new U.S. administration. But Farage said he didn't think he'd get a role in the administration because he had a British passport... and he said Prime Minister Theresa May had banned members of her senior team of ministers from speaking to him. Something Trade Secretary Liam Fox denies: (SOUNDBITE) (English) BRITISH TRADE SECRETARY, LIAM, FOX, SAYING: "Well, I have not had any such instruction..." BBC's Andrew Marr asked him to explain why Farage was turned down. (SOUNDBITE) (English) BRITISH TRADE SECRETARY, LIAM, FOX, SAYING: "I think we have got a perfectly good ambassador in Washington at the present time. Last time I looked there was no other vacancy." So now its a question of whether time will be on Farage's side.
