It's simple enough to get the evidence to court. What lies ahead could be more complicated ... This potentially a Pandora's box for Germany's largest carmaker. (SOUNDBITE) CONSUMER RIGHTS WEBSITE 'MYRIGHT.DE' CO-FOUNDER, JAN-EIKE ANDRESEN, SAYING: "Our clear goal is that it is determined here (at this court) that every affected German has the right to give their car back to Volkswagen and be reimbursed at the full sale price." Myright's test case is designed to get German drivers the same sort of payouts as in the US. Last month, 'substantial' if undisclosed compensation was agreed for owners of 80,000 3-litre VWs there. That's on top of 17 and a half billion dollars VW already set aside in the US for other claims and settlements. (SOUNDBITE) (English) LCG SENIOR ANALYST, JASPER LAWLER, SAYING: "We've reached some litigation milestones, but there's more to come, and I think investors are fully aware of that and it's very difficult to price in how aggressive some of these regulators come in on VW." VW has admitted to installing secret emissions cheating software - on more than 11 million vehicles in total worldwide. (SOUNDBITE) CONSUMER RIGHTS WEBSITE 'MYRIGHT.DE' CO-FOUNDER, JAN-EIKE ANDRESEN, SAYING: "Volkswagen simply wants as few people as possible to claim their rights at the end of the day ... We are lifting the lid on this ... That is completely new in the German justice system as up until now no one had the chance to claim against big companies and win their rights." Myright.de says it represents over 100 thousand consumers hit by dieselgate ... VW caught in a new cloud where it might have hoped for some clear air.
