NO ACCESS SEATTLE MEDIA MARKET WEBSITES.**~ U.S. President Donald Trump blasting Nordstrom on Twitter... saying his daughter Ivanka has been treated quote "so unfairly." The department store has reportedly started winding down its relationship with the Ivanka Trump brand... reducing the amount of merchandise it stocks. Even though some inventory could remain for now, a Nordstrom spokesperson says the company has decided not to buy the Ivanka Trump brand for the upcoming season based on the brand's performance. Shoppers in Seattle have mixed feelings: SOT: "I like her, I think she might be the one good thing in the White House." SOT: "I'm happy about it. Assuming they're doing it because Ivanka's brand doesn't reflect their values." Trump has stirred controversy over numerous executive orders, and the administration's fight to reinstate his travel ban. BUT Nordstrom says their decision to drop Ivanka's brand is NOT a political one. Other retailers have followed suit. Luxury department store Neiman Marcus has reportedly stopped selling Ivanka's jewelry line at a New Jersey store AND on its website. A search for the designer does not yield results.
