They were one of rock's most popular bands... Selling out arenas all over the world before the passing of their lead singer Lemmy in late 2015. But now Motorhead fans can relive the legend of the band in a video game. 'Motorhead: Through the Ages' is an add-on for action RPG 'Victor Vran'. The new game sees the hero fight demonic hordes with a guitar weapon and new Motorhead-themed costumes. All while the rockers' music plays out over the action. The 'Victor Vran' music said the original idea was just to license Motorhead music for their game but it escalted into its own add-on. (SOUNDBITE) CEO of Haemimont Games, Gabriel Dobrev, saying (English): "The Motorhead is a special expansion called 'Motorhead: Through the Ages' of the game and it's all built around Motorhead. It's built around ideas that they have in their songs. It's built around their music. It's built around different visuals that they have, albums covers, stuff that they did on stage and it's all created around the idea of Motorhead." Motorhead guitarist Phil Campbell was in London for a preview event of the game. He said Lemmy would have loved the idea of 'Motorhead: Through The Ages'. (SOUNDBITE) Motorhead Guitarist, Phil Campbell, saying (English): "Lem was always on his pod or his computer doing games and stuff. He'd have loved this, yeah. He'd have been on this for years and years and years trying to make himself look better looking or louder or something. I'm sure he would of. How do you make this louder, Phil?" The game is due for release in early 2017.
