Tech giant Amazon will create more than 5,000 jobs in the United Kingdom this year, clearly undeterred by Britain's future departure from the European Union. The world's largest online retailer announcing the news on Monday (February 20), saying it is committed to its investment in the country. A spike in jobs will increase Amazon's workforce in the UK to 24,000 permanent employees. The plans to add over 5,000 jobs in 2017 is a record for the company in Britain. All in a bid to provide faster delivery, more selection of products and better value, according to senior staff.
