It's one of Britain's most recognisable brands and a highlight of London fashion week. For its latest latest collection Burberry looked towards one of the country's most famous sculptors for inspiration - Henry Moore. SOUNDBITE: English, Christopher Bailey chief creative, saying: "...I grew up in Yorkshire, which is where he was from, and and we're very fortunate there, there's a sculpture park and my formative years were in that sculpture park kind of just breathing it in and living with all these incredible pieces of work. " On the runway: ivory, grey and blue. High-waisted trousers, oversized shirts and sweaters. Looks Bailey said were inspired by the sculptor. SOUNDBITE: English, Christopher Bailey chief creative, saying: "Henry Moore for me often such a significant part of his work was these shoulders that kind of prong out at different angles and we at Burberry, a big part of the trench coat is the shoulder because it's the storm flaps and the wind flaps and the collar so it just started playing with this idea of capes and it built up and built up." The fashion show was Burberry's second outing under the "see now, buy now" sales model. A model that lets you buy the clothes you see straight away, rather than wait the normal six months. A new approach to commerce for an old British heritage brand.
