(ROUGH CUT - NO REPORTER NARRATION) An Ariane rocket lifted off from Kourou in French Guiana on Thursday (May 4), carrying two communications satellites for Brazil and South Korea. The two satellites, SGDC and Koreasat 7 were blasted off from Europe's spaceport aboard an Ariane 5 rocket at 1850 local time (2150 GMT). SGDC, Brazil's first governmental telecommunications satellite, separated from the rocket 28 minutes after liftoff, Koreasat 7 followed eight minutes later, according to Arianespace. This marks Arianespace's fourth successful launch in 2017, the second launch using an Ariane 5 rocket, Arianespace website said.
