ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) STORY: U.S. President Donald Trump signed an order on Monday, asking the Department of Justice to "develop a strategy to better prevent and prosecute" violent crimes against police officers. "Last year, 118 officers died in the line of duty. And of those, 66 were victims of malicious attacks," said Trump, in front of group of police officers gathered at the White House. The signing took place ahead of an annual ceremony on the steps of the U.S. Capitol honoring fallen law enforcement officers.
