ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) STORY: "You do not have the moral right to turn your back on saving this planet and saving future generations," says Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders during a Commencement address at Brooklyn College on Tuesday (May 30). "Help us create the nation that we all know we can become," said Sanders, after presenting many of the 'challenges' facing the U.S.. "Today in America, the top one tenth of one percent owns almost as much wealth as the bottom ninety percent," he said. Sanders, a self-described democratic socialist, managed to turn his long-shot run into a mass movement with proposals to combat wealth inequality, increase access to healthcare and education, and defend the environment.
