ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) It wasn't just the flight attendants welcoming passengers on board a Delta flight from Atlanta to Washington, D.C. on June 8, but also former U.S. President Jimmy Carter. Carter greeted each and every passenger with a handshake, which was captured on video by passenger James Parker Sheffield. Sheffield took out his phone and started filming. "When people started saying he was on the plane, I thought they must be mistaking someone else for him. When I saw him coming up the aisle shaking hands, I couldn't believe it," Sheffield wrote in an e-mail to Reuters. Carter, the 39th president of the United States, was reportedly traveling for the funeral for his former national security advisor, Zbigniew Brzezinski.
