ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) The U.S. Coast Guard intercepted about a dozen migrants on a boat off the east coast of Florida on Wednesday. Video showed 12 men on a makeshift boat with a tattered sail and what looked like an on-board engine. Local media reported that the boat was off the coast of Dania Beach, which is between Miami and Fort Lauderdale. The identity and country of origin of the men were not known, though the words "God in front" were written on the boat's bow in Spanish. The migrants were given life jackets and escorted onto the Coast Guard boat as well as onto a U.S. Customs and Border Protection boat.
