Walgreens is revising its deal to buy more than 2,000 Rite Aid stores, according to Bloomberg. The company is in a final stage of negotiations with the Federal Trade Commission, and it's trying to put antitrust concerns to rest. Walgreens and Rite Aid declined to comment. But the news sent both stocks higher. In June, Walgreens said it would buy nearly half of Rite Aid's stores for $5.18 billion. That deal came after it had tried to take over the whole company, but failed to win antitrust approval.
