ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) A live broadcast on the Kurdish channel Rudaw TV captured the moment a large earthquake hit Iraq on Sunday (November 12) evening. The US Geological Survey said the quake measured a magnitude of 7.3, while an Iraqi meteorology official put its magnitude at 6.5 with the epicenter in Penjwin in Sulaimaniyah province in the Kurdistan region close to the main border crossing with Iran. Kurdish health officials said as well as at least four people being killed there were 50 injured. Meanwhile Iranian state television reported that at least 61 people had been killed and 300 injured in Iran's Kermanshah province on the border. The television quoted an emergency services official as saying that many of the victims were in the town of Sarpol-e Zahab, about 15 km (10 miles) from the border.
