Chaotic scenes at an Iranian hospital after a 7.3 magnitude quake struck in neighbouring Iraq on Sunday (November 12) killing more than 100 people. Most of those were in Iran after powerful tremors were sent across the border. Authorities say people are still trapped beneath the rubble. At least eight villages in the country have been damaged and there are fears the death toll in remote parts could be high. Darkness making it difficult for helicopters to reach far-flung areas. Authorities say many homes in the disaster zone are made of mud bricks, meaning they'd likely crumble in the event of an quake. Electricity has been cut of in several cities in Iran and Iraq forcing residents in both countries to flee their homes. Many have spent a cold night on the streets fearing their could be more aftershocks to come.
