(ROUGH CUT - NO REPORTER NARRATION) Rio de Janeiro's 22nd annual LGBTI pride parade saw thousands of people sing, dance and celebrate on Brazil's most famous beachfront on Sunday (November 19). Rio's residents didn't let a little rain spoil this year's parade and local media estimate that 800,000 people took part in the celebration. The parade is organised by the non-governmental organization Grupo Arco-Iris de Cidadania LGBT (Rainbow Group of LGBT citizenship) and fights for equal rights and to combat intolerance, prejudice and hate. Brazilian drag queen, Rose Divina, took a moment out of her celebration to strike a serious note, saying, "We continue with the fight against prejudice and homophobia that's happening - and many crimes are happening."
