Scientists are trying to answer one of the biggest question marks in climate-model simulations: What does the movement of the clouds mean for the climate? A survey of 30 years’ worth of satellite data suggests high-altitude clouds are shifting closer to the poles, and a recent study warned they could actually disappear. Lauren Anthony reports.
