Coal mining returns to Britain - without the miners

Jan. 17 - A British company plans to mine an estimated one billion tonnes of coal hidden deep underground on the Welsh coast by using a gasification technique pioneered a century ago in what was then the Soviet Union. The concept is said to be cleaner than conventional coal mining but is still drawing critics who say it sets the clean energy movement back decades. Jim Drury reports.
