Pakistan resumes partial train service after almost two months stoppage

The resumption of train operations was announced by Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rashid on Monday (May 18), who added that nearly 7,000 police officers have been deployed at railway stations in Karachi, Lahore, Multan, Rawalpindi, Peshawar and Quetta to ensure that safety precautions were being followed.
