Economist Laura Tyson says Gov. Mitt Romney’s comment that 47 percent of the population doesn’t pay taxes simply isn’t true. Payroll taxes are taken out of the checks of those who work. Romney also fails to take into account students, retirees and soldiers, she says. (October 3, 2012)
