April 27 (Reuters) - (This April 27 story corrects headline and paragraph 1 to say gas flows resumed on Tuesday. Adds second paragraph to say the flows dropped to zero on Wednesday after Russia cut gas supplies)

Gas supplies under the Yamal contract to Poland for Tuesday edged up after dropping to zero earlier, data from the European Union network of gas transmission operators showed on Wednesday.

Russia's Gazprom (GAZP.MM) cut Poland and Bulgaria off from its gas on Wednesday for refusing to pay in roubles, and threatened to do the same to others, cranking up retaliation for Western sanctions imposed for Moscow's invasion of Ukraine. read more

Physical gas flows via the Yamal-Europe pipeline from Belarus to Poland around 0200 CET for Tuesday were at 3,449,688 kWh/hour, data showed.
